Ah TV Network's Conference- A Vision for St Louis Creatives
A Day of Discovery at Ah TV Network's Conference: A Vision for St. Louis Creatives
"Over my career, I've had over 700 interns that had arts, entertainment, and media dreams. But too often, and too high of a percentage of those interns, went on to other career paths. I created this opportunity to share connections, to help encourage, inspire, and challenge the St. Louis creatives to create a solid network so the arts and entertainment community can thrive locally."
These powerful words, slightly paraphrased, come from Andre Holman, the visionary CEO of Ah TV Network. A St. Louis native and media veteran, Holman launched Ah TV Network to deliver inspiring and insightful content. His decades of experience transforming STL TV and mentoring hundreds of aspiring media professionals clearly drove his commitment to nurturing local talent. This profound vision was the driving force behind the recent three-day "2025 Creatives Connect in the STL" conference.
I recently attended one day of this landmark event, held from July 17-19, presented by Ah TV Network at the Sheraton Westport Hotel and Playhouse. While my schedule permitted only a single day, it proved to be an incredibly rich and dynamic experience, brimming with value and significant opportunities for collaboration.
My presence at the conference was multifaceted. Beyond my professional duties covering the event for The Argus News Stl, I also had a deep personal interest in the topics. This dual perspective offered exceptionally detailed insights, going beyond typical observations.
The day was a whirlwind of activity. From initial sessions to closing remarks, an undeniable current of innovation and shared purpose flowed through the venue. Discussions were robust, connections forged across disciplines, and the energy in the room was electric. It showcased the power of diverse minds converging with a common goal, highlighting the collective strength of St. Louis's creative community.
While I can't delve into specific details just yet, I can confidently say my day at the Ah TV Network conference offered a compelling glimpse into the future of media engagement and community building in our city. It left me and many others with much to consider for St. Louis's creative landscape.
The full scope of the three-day event undoubtedly offered even more. Yet, even a single day highlighted the impactful work and exciting directions in which Ah TV Network is headed, all underpinned by Holman's profound vision for St. Louis's creative future. It was a privilege to witness the convergence of passionate individuals and groundbreaking ideas.
